‘Don’t Be Selective In Choosing Job’- Nduom Advises Graduates

PRESIDENT and Chairman of Groupe Nduom (GN), a multinational conglomerate, has advised young graduates and would be entrepreneurs not to be selective in their chosen professions.

The business magnate called on young entrepreneurs to take every opportunity that comes their way seriously.

Speaking at the Power Talk Series organised by Private University Students of Ghana (PUSAG) on the theme: “How to become a successful entrepreneur” at the Methodist University College (MUC) in Accra, he said being an entrepreneur in Ghana was not easy.

He said: “we have seen successes and failures just as we have seen attempts to encourage and other times discourage us.”

He recounted how he started as a young entrepreneur the challenges he had to go through.

He revealed that he started with part-time job before he was able to rise up after gaining loads of experience.

According to Dr. Nduom, discipline has been his hallmark since he became an entrepreneur, and urged upcoming entrepreneurs to adopt that attitude.

“As an entrepreneur, you must clearly distinguish between your personal resources and that of the company. Don’t use what belongs to the company to satisfy personal needs,” the celebrated Ghanaian entrepreneur asserted
