NPP Shouldn't Be Discriminatory; Otiko And Bugri Naabu Must Be Brought To Order - Pratt

Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has waded into discussions regarding the conduct of the NPP Northern Regional Chairman Bugri Naabu and the Gender Minister, Otiko Djaba.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Mr. Pratt condemned the vocal exchanges and abuses between the two NPP kingpins.

According to him, the two hold prominent positions in the ruling party and so should not be found on each other's neck leveling various allegations against each other.

Analyzing the conduct of the two leaders, Mr. Pratt however wondered if their claims are indeed true because to him, if they have any substance of truth; then it behoves the security agencies to investigate the matter.

Touching on whether the Gender Minister, Otiko Djaba should be sanctioned by the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for misconducting herself as a Minister; Mr. Pratt shared a varied opinion as he subtly asked the NPP what they did about the Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyepong when he labeled the party members as dumb people on national television.

To him, what's good for the gander is equally good for the goose and though he would want both Bugri Naabu and Otiko Djaba to be brought to order, the party should however not be discriminatory but ensure that the same measure of sanction is meted out to anybody who misconducts himself or herself.

NPP Former Member of Parliament for Bantama, Henry Kwabena Kokofu also condemned the act by both party leaders.

Commenting on 'Kokrokoo', Hon. Kokofu advised the two to cease fire and let peace reign.
