To mark the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, management of Voltic Ghana Ltd organized a forum at their head office at Medie Kotoku to educate their workers on the culture of preventing danger.

The ceremony paved way for the management of Voltic to introduce to their workforce, new safety culture to guide against severe injuries at their respective workplaces.

Mr. Bright Oder, a Safety and Health Manager of Voltic noted in an interview with Peacefmonline.com that “the theme for the world safety and health day is building a culture of prevention, we want to be very proactive to prevent accident from occurring to our workers “.

He further explained that “our main aim of organizing this safety project is to drive hazards away from the midst of the workforce and that we try to be proactive and not in a reactive manner.”

He advised that, "safety measures are very important in the factory” and for this reason, “all factory workers should make it a point to respectively wear their working gears before starting work".
