Voltic Ghana Ltd. in collaboration with Environment 360 and Fan milk Limited- Ghana, has organized a cleaning session with the aim of recycling improperly disposed plastic waste to reduce the rate at which they become agents of flooding in our various communities.

The intent of the operation which was held at the 37 lorry station on the 2nd of June, 2017, was to educate citizens and create awareness on the need to dispose waste plastics and rubbers into bins provided by Voltic Ghana Ltd. In Voltic's view, doing so would reduce the rate at which people litter around.

In an interview with Bright Korda, the Safety and Health manager of Voltic Ghana Ltd, he stated that "we are trying to separate plastic waste from the general waste.

The main idea of separating plastic waste is that it helps in terms of housekeeping and curbs the rubbish that will be dumped across the communities".

He explained further that "Voltic we try to quench the thirst of our consumers, it come in plastic bottles so the main idea why Voltic Ghana is into this is that we are trying as much as possible to leave that campaign of subjugating all plastic waste and so far we have been able to subjugate 30 tons of plastic waste".
