A vibrant youth group in the New Patriotic Party, by name Three Northern Youth of NPP, is calling on Ghana's Deputy Ambassador to China, Dr. Charles Dwamena, to contest as National Treasurer of the party as the party prepares to elect new executives.

The group asserts that the work entrusted into the hands of Dr. Dwamena as Director of Finance and Administration (HQ NPP), was well executed and needs to be elevated to the position of a Treasurer.

According to them, they have done their internal checks and have seen that the grounds looks fertile for Dr. Charles Dwamena to takeover as National Treasurer of the party.

They have promised to use their energies and resources to support the campaign of Dr. Charles Dwamena popularly known as Dr. China.
