Four people died after a Mercedes Benz Sprinter bus they were travelling on board rammed a container that had fallen off a truck at Teacher-Mante on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.
The Nsawam Station Fire Officer, Gitban Ekor, who confirmed the incident to DAILY GUIDE , said “A container fell off the truck after the driver made a sharp curve on the highway.”
He said the Sprinter bus with registration number, GN 9610 – 16 was on top of speed from Accra to Kumasi and the driver rammed the container unknowingly.
He said the bodies have been deposited at the Nsawam Government Hospital morgue while the injured are currently receiving treatment at the same facility.
DAILY GUIDE gathered as at press time that one of the injured had died at the hospital.
