Ebony, Amakye Dede For Boxing Day Show

The Miklin Hotel in Kumasi will be the centre of attraction on Tuesday, December 26, when the finest Highlife and Dancehall artistes entertain patrons at the Happy Man Live Concert.

Organised by Modern Initiatives and Happy Man Bitters, the show is to help patrons see off 2017 with great entertainment.

Abrantie Amakye Dede will lead the artistes and he has promised a “seeeerious” show.

Known as a live band powerhouse, he is expected to deliver an electric performance with songs like Kose Kose, Iron Boy, Akoko Bebon, M’ani Agyina, Bebrebe Yi, Krokro Me, Akonoba, Oyonko Pe Me Seyee among a host of others.

Reigning female Dancehall artiste, 90s baddest girl, Ebony Reign is also expected to win new fans in Kumasi after taking Accra by storm. She promises her “hustle” will not be a vain as she will deliver an excellent show.

Bisa Kdei, who is keeping the Highlife flame burning will also be in attendance. Songs from his repertoire including Mansa, Brother Brother, Feeling, Samina and others are expected to keep patrons on their feet.

Another Highlife artiste on the bill, KK Fosu told Showbiz he is already fired up to treat patrons to some of his great tunes that rocked the scene years ago.

“Kumasi is my own and I’m already geared up. This year has been slow for me and this concert will be a good opportunity to make up for my absence,” he said.

Other artistes billed for the night are Kofi Nti and the promising "Alaptawan." GHOne’s Amanda Jissih, Kumawood actor, Akrobeto and Nkosuohene will handle affairs.
