Agogo Regrets Joining Zamalek

Black Stars striker Junior Agogo has admitted for the first time his regret for signing with Egyptian Giants Zamalek. The 30 year old who played a very crucial role in Ghanas African cup campaign early last year, made a surprise move to the Egyptians side from English championship outfit Nottingham Forest last season. The Black Stars crowd favorite soon encountered some contractual problems with the management of the club who were keen to cut down his wage demands. Agogo, who has since moved on to Cyprus side Apollon Limassol, says he is now concentrating on helping his new club. Obviously as you know I have to look at the positive sides and put that behind me, I went there and it was an experience for me it didnt help me, I try to bring out my opinion and tell people about it but it seems it has all fallen on deaf ears. Am not going to talk about what happened in Egypt because its over and I am happy for it. I just want to concentrate for my new team so that I can do well for Ghana. Junior Agogo hopes that he will be given the chance once again by Coach Milovan Rajevac to prove himself for a place back in the Black Stars team.
