Kwame Kizito Completes Move To Libyan Champions Al Ittihad

Libyan Club Al Ittihad have signed Ghanaian striker Kwame Kizito.

The attacker completed a move to the reigning Libyan Premier League Champions by signing a two-year deal with the Club.

Kizito worked on a move to the North African Club after securing his floating status having served his contract at Hearts of Oak.

The 22-year-old was reported to have refused to extend his stay at Hearts of Oak at the end of the 2016/17 season where he scored nine goals for the Ghanaian giants.

His new challenge at Al Attihad will see him feature for the Club in this year’s CAF Champions League when they take on Ghanaian Champions Aduana Stars in the preliminary round.

The former Glow Lamp Soccer Academy player sparked to light under the supervision of Coach Frank Nuttal after falling out initially at the Club.

Nuttal’s arrival at Hearts of Oak saw the attacker earning regular first team action ahead of Cosmos Dauda who was the preferred choice for previous Coaches at the Club.

The player made use of the opportunity handed by the Scottish manager where he made a big impression in the Ghana Premier League ultimately earning himself a place in the Black Stars B team that won the WAFU Cup of Nations tournament in Cape Coast, a competition he scored twice to help the team clinch the trophy.
