Members of the Akim Asiakwa Methodist Church-Ghana, have raised GH�5,500 at a fund raising rally towards the expansion of their church building at Akim Asiakwa.
The Project Officer of the Church, Mr Kofi Larbi, told the Ghana News Agency that it had become necessary to expand the building because of the increasing number of people joining the Church.
He said Church members were also contributing to the funds.
In related development, the Akim Asiakwa Presbyterian Church bagged GH�12,500 at their annual harvest towards the renovation of their building.
