Nana Ama McBrown Honoured

Top Movie star, Nana Ama McBrown, has been honoured at a colourful ceremony in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti region.

The ‘Wisdom for Winning’ honoured her for her contributions towards the development in the movie sector.

McBrown, who has starred in several local movies for more than a decade, was accorded a standing ovation as she received her award.

International Preacher, Bishop Prince Hampel, leader of the ‘Prince Hampel World Outreach’, personally presented the award to the screen goddess.

The ‘Wisdom for Winning’, is a subsidiary of the ‘Prince Hampel World Outreach’, which has been used as a strong tool to win souls for Christ.

The ‘Wisdom for Winning’ Excellence Awards has been introduced, ostensibly, to help motivate people who are contributing to develop the state.

Other top personalities, who have also made it big in their chosen careers and professions in the country, were also honoured on the day.

They include Boris Baidoo aka ‘Boris B’, a businessman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka ‘Wontumi, a politician and Eleanor Effe Amanor, media practitioner.

In the area of religion, Most Rev. Prof. Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, was also honoured for his contributions in promoting God’s word.

Bishop Prince Hampel stressed on the need for Ghanaians to honour their heroes whilst they are alive to help motive others to learn from them.

According to him, he decided to use the ‘Wisdom for Winning Excellence Awards’ to urge Ghanaians to adopt hard work in their daily lives.
