A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife at Kukuom in the Asunafo South District of the Brong Ahafo Region.
The man, according to sources, was arrested on Monday January 22 by the Kukuom police command after allegedly murdering his wife on Saturday morning.
It is believed the suspect allegedly killed his 43-year-old wife in Kukuom after the couple was engaged in a domestic disagreement.
The argument is said to have degenerated into a fight during which the wife is suspected to have hit the husband.
A local reporter, Aboage Dacosta who confirmed the incident said the deceased, Comfort Mamuna, was stabbed on her neck by the suspect who is also her husband after the heated quarrel.
The suspect, Kwame Precious is currently assisting the Kukuom police in investigations.
