I'll Neither Wash Nor Clean; I'll Spend My Time On Something Else - Ace Ankomah - VIDEO

"If you are able to provide the means for something to be done, don’t do it yourself, spend your time on something else", that's the position of legal practitioner Ace Ankomah. According to the litigator, performing any task including household chores should be a choice and not an imposition.

Speaking to GhanaWeb editor Kwabena Kyenkyenhene Boateng on ‘21 minutes with KKB’, the Managing Partner for Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa and Ankomah revealed that though he is very good with house chores, he will not spend time on it because he believes his time will be better spent on other duties.

He is of the view that there's no point wasting time on something your money can do for you.

“Why will I pick a broom or a brush to sweep unless I want to?” he quizzed.

He added, "...If the means exists for it to be done why should I?...if you're able to provide the means for a thing to be done don't do it yourself. Spend your time on something else"

Ace Ankomah who was speaking about the debate on the role of wives, noted that people who feel fulfilled doing household chores can go ahead and do it but he won’t bother himself with it. He believes his decision 'helps create employment' thus he will not proceed to work on chores even though he can.

“I know how to clean a toilet bowl with a toothbrush. I know where to apply the parazone and everything, but I’ve taught you how to do it, why will I do it. It creates employment so why will I do it”.
