Alhaji Bature’s 40 Days Funeral Rites Set For Feb. 17

The family of the late Managing Editor of the Al-Hajj Newspaper, Alhaji Bature Iddrisu have set Saturday February 17, 2018 for his Islamic 40 days Dua or prayers.

“In line with Islamic religion, the 40th day after the burial of any departed soul marks the final funeral rites (Dua) where prayers are offered to Allah to forgive the person’s shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus”, a family statement said.

Invitation to 40th Day Dua of late Alhaji Bature Iddrisu

The Funeral Planning Committee of the late Alhaji Bature Iddrisu, on the instruction of the Iddrisu Family, is pleased to invite the general public to the 40th Day Dua of the former Managing Editor of the The aL-haJJ newspaper.

In line with Islamic faith, the 40th day after the burial of any departed soul marks the final funeral rites (Dua) where prayers are offered to Allah to forgive the person’s shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.

On the strength of this, the family settled on Saturday, February 17, 2018 as the 40th Day Dua of the late Alhaji Bature. After several consultations with the family and key stakeholders, the committee then settled on Kawokudi Park as the ideal venue for the event.

The committee is by this statement inviting well-wishers, admirers, sympathizers and the general public to the 40th Day Dua which will start at 10:am.

The committee is appealing to all those who will make it to the event to abide by arrangements put in place in order to ensure successful Dua for our departed brother.
