Awurama Badu To Be Buried Tomorrow
Ghanaian highlife legend, Awurama Badu‘s final funeral rites have been slated for 17th February 2018.
The funeral will take place at the Centre for National Culture in Kumasi.
This was announced at the 1-week celebration of the ‘Obaatan Refre Ne Mma’ singer at Banko in the Sekyere East District of the Ashanti Region.
The musician who had been sick for a while passed at the Effiduasi Govt Hospital on the 26th of October 2017
Awurama Badu has composed several hits songs including Komkom, Obaatan Refre Ne Mma, and Medofo adadaa me.
She died at the age of 72.
