Go And Live In The Zoo - Anyidoho To Mensa Otabil

Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Koku Anyidoho has thrown a punch at 'neutrals' whom he describes as hypocrites and parasites over their seeming shifting stance on issues in the country.

In an interview with Ghanaweb, the outspoken politician wondered why some persons in the country have suddenly gone quiet over the many ills with the current NPP government.

According to him, he's at a loss as to why some journalists and men of God have now decided to keep mute over various alleged acts of corruption, nepotism and cronyism within the NPP government having criticized previous governments for similar incidents.

In a comment that many have described as a direct response to a comment by founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church, Dr Mensa Otabil, that he has stopped watching Ghanaian television channels because he does not want to 'pollute' himself, Koku Anyidoho said "suddenly today some pastors say that now they watch animals. It's animals that they watch, they're prepared to watch Antelopes and Giraffes...Yes, you'll watch more animals."

The firebrand who fell short of mentioning names added, “...if NDC is in power that one you listen to human beings to prepare your sermon but when NPP is in power and they are doing horrible things because you cannot preach those sermons you are watching animals, they should go and live in the zoo. He should actually go and be preaching his sermons in the zoo to animals. Hypocrites and parasites”.
