Israel King of Jews Church "Surprises" Kokrokoo Project 100

Israel King of Jews Church has made a kind donation to support Kokrokoo Charity's "Project 100".

The Church's General Overseer, Nakoa Nazareth Ansah Jamson, made the donation of $10000 for the purchase of an incubator towards achieving the goal of Project 100.

"As a church, one of our major tenets is helping the society. We totally support your noble cause with our widow’s mite to help save these innocent babies. God richly bless you for this innovation", he said whiles handing over the donation to Kwami Sefa Kayi.

Whiles lauding the seasoned journalist for his astuteness and neutrality on radio, Prophet Nakoa, who is also the Leader of the Prophets and Spiritual Churches Council, urged him to continue with the good work he is doing for God and country.

The "Chairman-General" expressed gratitude to Prophet Nakoa and Israel King of Jews Church for the kind gesture.

He commended the Spiritual Leader for his advocacy role in strengthening religious tolerance as well as preaching national co-existence between Muslims and Christians.

Project 100, spearheaded by host of Peace FM's Flagship programme "Kokrokoo" and current GJA Journalist of the Year, Kwami Sefa Kayi, is aimed at procuring 100 incubators to hospital to save preterm babies.

According to available statistics, more than 8,000 out of the about 140,000 children born premature in Ghana every year die before 30 days.

It is in this regard that the Kokrokoo Charities Foundation, initiated the “Project 100 Incubators” to raise funds through individuals and corporate organisations to procure 100 incubators for health facilities across the country so as to avert infant deaths recorded at these facilities.

Through the social intervention project, infant incubators have been installed at hospitals including; Nsawam Government Hospital, the La General Hospital, Police Hospital and the Prestea Government Hospital in the Western Region, the Koforidua Government hospital among others.
