Apologize To Ghanaians For Deceit -- Anim Piesie Asks Akufo-Addo

NDC Communicator, Bernard Anim Piesie has asked President Nana Akufo-Addo to render an apology to Ghanaians for throwing dust into their eyes, after winning their sympathy and votes.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Anim Piesie insisted that the President and his government have woefully failed Ghanaians.

According to him, the government has been doing the very thing they were against and for that matter resulted in the ruling New Patriotic Party victory over the erstwhile Mahama administration.

The NDC Communicator was commenting on the number of staff working at the Jubilee House.

The Akufo-Addo government on Friday, April 20, 2018, submitted a total number of 998 workers to Parliament.

The number comprised 706 Employees of Public Sector Organisations, 27 Presidential Staffers, 256 Junior Appointees and 9 Ministers of State.

The figure has been greeted with strong condemnation based on the historical fact that the government lambasted the previous administration for having 678 staff in 2013.

Addressing the issue, Anim Piesie told sit-in host Nana Yaw Kesseh that the President must explain to Ghanaians reasons behind such huge number and for his double standard.

He asked the government to stop blaming the Mahama government for his bad decision-making and poor administration of the economy.

“The government must apologize to Ghanaians for deceiving us . . . I won’t be surprised that tomorrow, they will come to tell you that they couldn’t do the ‘1 District, 1 Factory’ or ‘1 Village, 1 Dam’ because of President Mahama”, he said.
