Mfantseman MP Promises CHPS Compounds In His Communities

Member of Parliament for Mfantseman constituency in the Central region, Hon. Ekow Kwansah Hayford has commended the former Member of Parliament who was also a former Central regional Minister in the Mahama adminstration, Aquinas Tawiah Quansah and the former Municipal Chief Executive for Mfantseman municipality, Mr. Henry Kweku Hayford for the provision of a Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound in some communities in the municipality.

He says their works have assisted in the provision and making of health care accessible to the deprived communities in his constituency.

He has promised to complete all uncompleted projects initiated by the former government in the municipality.

He also promised to provide CHPS compounds in all the communities and also to register NHIS freely for about 1,500 of men, women, children and the old in the communities.

Mr. Hayford made this known when he commissioned a CHPS compound which was started by the former Member of Parliament and the Municipal Chief Executive in the Kyeakor community a suburb of Mfantseman in the Central region.

He called for proper maintenance of the facility and also urged them to take the opportunity to visit the clinic for regular check ups.

The Municipal Health Director, Dr. Georgina Yvonne Graham Hayford expressed appreciation to the MP and promised to take proper care of the facilities.

Mr. Ekow Kwansah Hayford was accompanied by some staff of the municipal assembly, the mfantseman NPP constituency Chairman and Assembly members.
