The aspiring National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Sammi Awuku popularly called Capo has ended his 5-day campaign tour in the three Northern Regions, pulling massive support and assurance from the delegates.

Speaking at a gathering of delegates from Bawku Central, Pusiga, Garu, Tempane, Binduri, Zebilla, Builsa North, Builsa South, Paga Chiana, Navrongo Central, Talensi, Nabdam and the Bolga Constituencies, Mr. Awuku urged the delegates to vote massively for him to become the next National Organizer of the NPP.

"My Message is clear, I want to make NPP an election winning machine. I'm determined to ensure that when it comes to mobilizing resources for the party structures , I'm going to play a key role to support party’s national officers, support presidents and our government to make sure that our party’s base and grassroots also get a life".

Mr. Awuku revealed his 4 policies for the party to be the following: ‘Resourcing and motivating party structures at all levels of organization to ensure that the welfare and needs of party executives and members are prioritized by the party at all times, Training and Capacity building to tailor training assistance to the needs of the various operational units of the party from resource mobilization to grassroots mobilization, Establishment of a Party Operations Team (POT) to integrate all special interest groups in all regions across the country and Embark on a massive recruitment drive for new members into the party.

Constituency Organizers and party faithfuls across the regions offered to support Sammi Awuku wholeheartedly without taking anything from him.

The group reassured the aspiring National Organizer saying "go and sleep because you have already won"; thus they sang and danced shouting ‘Boys Abre’, ‘Sammy di wo hene’; Keeping-faith-with-the-grassroot’ amongst others are in support of Mr. Awuku as he ends his campaign tour.

Sammi Awuku in response expressed his profound gratitude to them and thanked them for their warm reception and overwhelming endorsement.

“I remain eternally grateful to delegates and to the party supporters in the region too for their warm reception and overwhelming endorsement... I will make you proud when elected into office", he assured.
