NPP Chairmanship Race: Am Still In The Race-Alhaji Short

The campaign Manager of Alhaji Abubakari Abdul-Rahman (Alhaji Short), who is vying for the position of National Chairman in NPP, Mr. Kwabena Marfo has denied reports that his candidate Alhaji Short has resigned from the race

He has urged all NPP delegates, supporters and the general public to disregard falsehood and fabricated story making waves in the media purporting that Alhaji Short will Steps Down Ahead Of Vetting.

According to him, the story is false and fabricated and a figment of the feverish imagination of the opponents and detractors of Alhaji Short."

In a statement sent to peacefmonline.com, he stated that, "Alhaji Short remains a strong contestant in the party’s national chairmanship election and asked all NPP faithful and delegates to treat it with the contempt it deserves."

We wish to inform the delegates of the NPP national conference as well as all members, supporters and sympathizers of Team Short and the NPP, in particular, and the public, in general, that our candidate for National Chairman of the NPP, Alhaji Abubakari Abdul-Rahman (aka Alhaji Short), remains a contestant in the party’s national chairmanship election to be held in July this year.

The falsehoods and fabrications, carried in the fake news churned out by those from who do not want a free and fair election, will come to naught. The machinations of those who are patently running scared of Alhaji Short and, consequently, seeking to distort the spirit of our internal democracy, will fail.

As sure as darkness gives way to daylight and day follows night, the will of God will prevail in this election. And, if it pleases Him, Alhaji Short will win.

Treat any fake news from anywhere about Alhaji Short leaving the race with the contempt it deserves.
