Anas Vs K. Agyepong: We Will Not Be Silenced (VIDEO)
Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has stated in a tweet that: “We will not be intimidated”.
According to him, nothing will stop him from exposing corruption in the society.
This follows threats by Kennedy Agyapong to “strip Anas naked” following his latest corruption exposé captured in his Number 12 undercover documentary jointly produced with BBC.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central is not comfortable with Anas' style of investigation.
He has described Anas as a corrupt journalist who sets up people with the aim to destroy their reputation.
On Wednesday, he released various pictures purported to be Anas and promised to bring out documents of the journalist's numerous properties acquired through dubious means.
In response again to these issues, Anas took to his Facebook wall on Thursday, 31 May 2018 to post a video containing some of the numerous images released by Mr Agyapong as well as some other memes from members of the public.
In the video were statements which read: “They will try to silence us but we will outnumber them. This is a movement of the people. Ghana First! #IamAnas #SayNoToCorruption”.
