Ken Agyapong Insults And 'Threatens' NADMO Coordinator

NPP Member of Parliment for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has descendedly heavily on the Ashanti Regional NADMO coordinator, Kwabena Nsekyire for asking him to leave the country if he is unable to withstand the premiering of the Anas investigative piece dubbed 'Number 12'.

The maverick MP speaking on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme described the Ashanti regional Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party as a 'fool' and threatened to slap him should they meet in Kumasi.

"Foolishman like you, if your relative has suffered from the stupid works of corrupt Anas, you will not be there saying those things you are saying," he said.

"Let him dare, I dont even know how that Nsenkyire man got employed. He should come and I will give him a better job to do," he added furiously.

Kennedy Agyapong could not fathom why the NADMO coordinator will defend the ace investigator who he (Hon.Kennedy Agyapong) claims is corrupt and that has no moral right to investigate corrupt people, not to talk of exposing them.

The no nonsense legislator who recently flooded the internet with images purported to be the award-winning investigative journalist has vowed to go any length to blow Anas’ cover even at the expense of his life.

He consequently vowed to screen his own investigative documentary on Anas to show Ghanaians that the ‘invincible’ Anas is not clean after all.

Mr Agyapong alleges he has a video in which Anas is reported to have confessed to a state Prosecutor of receiving $100,000 bribe wondering why the person seeking equity does not approach equity with clean hands.

He has thus sworn to also premiere the video in his possession after June 6 to show the kind of person, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is, insisting he does not make allegations in the vacuum.

The MP for Assin Central speaking speaking on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme has sworn that if he does not premiere his piece after Anas’ much awaited 'Number12', God should strike him dead.

Kennedy Agyapong has mounted a strong onslaught against the investigative journalist over his style of journalism, alleging, he has no moral right to expose corruption when he is unclean himself.

Kennedy Agyapong described Anas as a corrupt journalist who sets people up just to destroy them.

This follows Anas’ latest exposé on football corruption and politics, which has already seen Ghana Football Association President, Kwasi Nyantakyi, under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Police Service after a report by President Akufo-Addo.

He is captured in the yet to be screened video attempting to use the names of President Akufo-Addo and high government officials to induce some businessmen.

Mr. Nsenkyire who is also Regional Co-ordinator of National Disaster Management Organization says Mr. Agyapong should leave Ghana for Togo if he can’t stand Anas’s style of journalism.

He told Nhyira FM's 'Kro yi mu Nsem' host, Kofi Asante that, President Akufo-Addo promised to collaborate with people like Anas to fight corruption.

He therefore, wonders why Kennedy Agyapong, his fellow party member, is attacking the world-acclaimed journalist.
