Fired CEOs....Failed Attempt By Akufo-Addo To Shift Focus From Anas’ Video – NDC

A desperate move on their part to divert attention from the biggest issue on the ground; Anas’ ‘Number 12’ is the reason for the rather ‘sudden’ dismissal of CEOs of some public institutions, the National Democratic Congress has alleged.

A statement released and signed by Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho noted that the dismissal of Managing Director of the Bulk Oil and Storage Transport (BOST), Alfred Obeng Boateng, CEO of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Gifty Klenam, her two deputies and the MD of the Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority Paul Ansah Wednesday is a mere attempt by the ‘fast sinking Akufo-Addo government’ to pull a veil over the impending screening of the corrosive corruption-laden video of Anas Aremeyaw Anas'.

Describing the NPP administration as ‘super incompetent’, he maintained they ought to pay the price for the 'blatant ignominy and shame' they have brought upon 'Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana’.

The dismissal of the three CEOs coincides with the premiering of the much anticipated investigative piece which has got tongues wagging for weeks now.

Though the move is seen as part of efforts by the President to rid government agencies of what seems to be a cycle of boardroom wrangling between chief executives of state agencies and their boards, the NDC believes otherwise.

The Akufo-Addo government has been afflicted with persistent clashes between CEOs and board members. Last month, CEO of the Ghana Cylinder Manufacturing Company Frances Essiam was engaged in an open spat with her board, accusing them of witch-hunting.

Press Release

The NDC Shall Not Fall For Any Diversionary Antics Of The Fast-Sinking Akufo-Addo NPP Government Via Sacking Of Some CEOs

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), is calling on all Party members, to completely ignore, the desperate diversionary attempt of the failing and fast-sinking Akufo-Addo Government, to use the rather belated supposed sacking of some Chief Executive Officers of certain Government owned Entities to pull a veil over the impending screening of the corrosive corruption-laden video of Anas Aremyaw Anas.

All comrades and patriots must stay glued to the nitty gritties of the video of Anas Aremyaw Anas, and hold this Super Incompetent NPP Administration accountantable for the blatant ignominy and shame it has brought upon Kwame Nkrumah' s Ghana as they continue to swim in murky seas of: ONE DAY, ONE CORRUPTION.
