Recently sacked CEO of the Ghana Exports Promotion Authority, Gifty Klenam says she is still at post, refusing to give way to the newly Appointed Ms Afua Asabea Asare to take over.

It will be recalled that on June 6, 2018, three top chief executives of the country were relieved of their jobs of which Gifty Klenam of GEPA, together with her two deputies were part.

However, a week after a new appointment in the person of Ms Afua Asabea Asare, Gifty says, she is still at post.

Speaking from her home on Saturday, Gifty Klenam told Kojo Yankson of Joy Fm, that she has not received any formal communication from the Presidency asking her to vacate her post.

Meanwhile,the Presidency barely 48 hours after Klenam’s sack, a letter signed by the secretary of the president, Nana Asante Bediatuo, announced the appointement of Ms Asare as Gifty Klenam’s replacement.
