Adomako Baafi Still At Post - John Boadu

Acting General Secretary and Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, John Boadu has said the acting National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Adomako Baafi has not been relieved of his duties yet.

"As it is now, Yaw Adomako Baafo still occupies the post as the acting Communications Director of the party," John Boadu said.

Speaking on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, the National Organizer of the party admitted that there are processes to appoint a new person to occupy the post but as it stands now, they have not concluded on one yet.

He said the party has processes to go through when there is the need to appoint new executives of the party and that is what they are doing.

According to him, the party will officially communicate to him and members of the party when it is done.

"Adomako Baafi to the best of my knowledge is still at post and considered as the acting Communications Director of the party," he reiterated.

A facebook post by founder of the Danquah Institute, Gabby Asare Otchere Darko suggested that Adomako Baafi has been relieved of his post as Communications Director of the party.

“Congrats to Yaw Buabeng Asamoah for your appointment as the new Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party. Clearly, there was a huge leadership vacuum in the ruling party’s communication machinery and we are all happy to hear that Chairman Blay, General John Boadu and the team have acted accordingly,” he said in a post.
