A leading aspirant in the NPP National Youth Organizer race, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), has paid a solemn visit to the Family of the demised former Upper East Regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Imoro Salifu who was also a founding member of NPP.

Nana B was in a  company of Latif Solomon(Upper east Regional youth organizer ), Yahaya Salifu (Dep Ashanti Regional youth organizer), Listowel Azongbilla ( Upper East Reg. Youth org), Haruna Mohammed (Northern Regional youth wing), Hon Alhaji Abubakari Braimah (Ablekuma Constituency youth organizer), Mumuni Faisal (Bawku central youth organizer)Adams Casty(Kwabre East Youth organizer), Hon Mohammed Mansuru (Salaga North Youth ORG) Adams Mohammed Mansur (Asawasi Dep Youth org),  Nuhu Iddris (Kade Dep Youth organizer).

Nana B who was on a campaign trail in the Bawku area also took time out of his busy schedule to visit the grave yard of Mr. Imoro Salifu as a sign of respect and recognition of his contributions to the establishment and sustenance of the Dankwa-Dombo-Busia Tradition.

Mr. Imoro Salifu was a founding member of the United Gold Coast Convention (UGCC) from 1948-54. He became secretary of the Northern People's Party (NPP), 1954-56 and was also a founding member of the United Party (UP). He became the Upper Regional Minister under the Progress Party (PP), which he was a founding member in 1969.
