The Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua, is getting ready to host more than 6,000 members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) on July 7, 2018 to where  election of  new National Executives to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years will take place.

According to Mr. Sammi Awuku, he said all the necessary arrangements have been put in place and by closed of next week all delegates will be sorted out with respect to accommodations.

‘The party, having put in place, all the necessary arrangements, is very confident that the 2018 national conference shall be a remarkable success,’

Speaking on Okay FM’s Adey Akyi Abia progromme, Mr. Awuku stated that the party has done all the necessary arrangement including hotel booking, grounds preparation etc for this years national conference.

He also said members of the National Executive committee had also made the necessary security arrangements, considering the number of people who were expected to throng Koforidua for the conference.

"I will be going there tomorrow to make sure everything is done properly," he stressed.

Talking about his campaign, he indicated that he has done all that is deemed necessary and he believes the good people of NPP believing in his message and policies will give him the nod.

“I believe NPP delegates never make mistakes, they always get it right in electing the best candidate suitable for every position and I know my case will not be an  exception,” he stated.
