Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa has been elected as the new Nasara Coordinator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) according to provisional results.

Prior to the elections, the former Hearts of Oak management member vowed to ensure that the NPP wins the Asawase seat for the ruling party. 

The Asawase constituency is the only seat being held by the NDC in the Ashanti region. 

He told the media that the NDC will fall in the Ashanti region and the Asawase seat will be a cool chop for the NPP in 2020.

“I will chase NDC from the Zongos and make Nasara an election-winning machine”, he bragged. Well, 2020 will tell.
