Deputy Ambassador To China Commends Newly Qualified Ghanaian Doctors

Ghana's Deputy Ambassador to China, Dr. Charles Dwamena has congratulated African Medical students of Jinzhou Medical University for the successful completion of their courses.

Among the graduating class are newly qualified Ghanaian doctors who believe in the ‘Ghana Beyond Aid Agenda’ being pursued by H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and have vowed to return home to contribute their quota.

"This is in sharp contrast to the era where Ghanaian doctors left the shores of Ghana for greener pastures thereby draining the human resource of the country," H.E Dr Charles Dwamena said.

He said the government of President Akufo-Addo is highly concerned about Ghanaians in the diaspora and is taking steps to address their concerns.

His Excellency Dr Charles Dwamena also said President Akufo-Addo is determined to put the country on the right track for development through policy initiatives such as the Free SHS, the One District/One factory, the Planting for food and jobs and the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) to help reduce unemployment in the country.
