(VIDEO) “I Sold Condoms, S£x Toys To Survive” — Singer Nana Boroo
Hip-life artiste Nana Osei Bonsu known in the music circles as Nana Boroo has disclosed that he used to be selling s*x lubricants, condoms, and other s*x toys for his survival.
Speaking in an interview on Joy FM’s “Cosmopolitan Mix” show on Tuesday 17th July 2018 with Doreen Andoh, he said he never even thought of becoming popular until he met his colleague SK Blinks with whom he collaborated to release his first Track, “Aha Ye De”.
“I used to sell stuff. I was selling vibrators, condoms, lubricants, surgical cloths…Very unique yet colourful condoms
“My songs took me to places, meeting people and seeing money I never thought I would see.”
He revealed the reasons why he has been off from the music scene was because he engaged himself in other businesses which did not give him enough time for his music.
“I don’t like working under pressure. I don’t even follow the trend. I wanna take time before I put my song out so I look different. I wasn’t so focused on music until last year. I won’t say my art career is over. I take time to research. I love art every day…”
Nana Boroo is currently promoting his track tagged “Broken Heart” which featured the boss of Sarkcess music, Sarkodie.
