A MANHUNT is underway for one Abraham Antwi Boasiako over suspected murder of his wife, Stella Amoako at Assin Fosu in the Central Region.
The 32-year-old woman was found dead in their matrimonial home near the Immigration Academy and Training School last Monday July 30, 2018.
She was found half naked in a pool of blood, lying in a prostrate position with fresh multiple wounds on both shoulders and occiput without any sign of struggle at the scene thereby deepening suspicion that she was murdered elsewhere and dumped in the area.
Exhibits such as a pick-axe with broken wooden handle, and a blood stained cutlass, were recovered and retained as evidence.
Her corpse has since been deposited in the morgue at the St Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu for autopsy.
Detectives are, however, on the lookout for the suspect to assist police with investigations.
Police are thereby appealing to the general public to furnish them with credible lead to the arrest of the suspect.
