Madam Rebecca Yeboah, has been elected as the new District Chief Executive of the Atwima Nwabiagya North District.

All sixteen (16) assembly men and nine (9) government appointees who participated in the voting process, voted for her and promised to assist her after the results were announced.

She was ably assisted to the voting grounds by Mr. Andy Owusu, a key member of the New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti region. After her victory, Madam Rebecca Yeboah, thanked the people for their faith in her.

She also promised to do her best and repay President Akufo-Addo and the people of Atwima Nwabiagya North District, with hard work and development.

The Atwima Nwabiagya North District, forms part of the 38 new district and municipalities created by President Akufo-Addo’s administration to bring development.

President Akufo-Addo, in creating the new districts has explained that decentralization was key to development and for that matter, new districts such as the Atwima Nwabiagye North District, would bring bring the government closer to the doorstep of people.
