Duncan Amoah Is ‘In Bed’ With New BOST Boss – Former BOST MD Alleges

The former Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST), Alfred Obeng Boateng says the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC) boss; Duncan Amoah was hired by the current BOST MD, George Okley to tarnish his reputation whiles in office.

Mr. Obeng Boateng said Duncan Amoah was simply an ‘enemy to his progress’ with false allegations of financial malfeasance against him but the latter has refused to comment on the “mess being caused the current BOST MD now”.

This was in response to claims by Duncan Amoah that Ghana lost about GHC30million in revenue when 1.8 million barrels of crude oil was sold at a discount to an unlicensed company known as BB Energy.

He alleged that the discount was at two dollars a barrel when prices on the international market were on the rise.

But Mr. Obeng Boateng in an exclusive interview with Akwasi Aboagye, host of NEAT FM’s morning show, ‘Ghana Montie’, said the COPEC boss was used as a distraction tool “through false, baseless, needless and malicious publications… for no other reason but for their personal and selfish individual interest.

He is doing the bidding of the current BOST MD” he said.

According to him, Duncan Amoah is not “credible to talk about BOST issues. He is now diverting attention from the rot at BOST now with baseless accusations”.

Attempts by the producers of the show to reach either Mr Duncan Amoah or the current BOST MD for a rebuttal proved futile.
