Organisers of the 2018 edition of Miss Ghana pageant has announced that songstress, Wendy Shay, among other artistes, will perform at the pageant.

The grand finale for this year’s pageant is scheduled to take place at the Marriott Hotel in Accra on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 7pm.

Earlier, organisers announced that Gyedu Blay Ambolley, ace saxophonist Steve Bedi and a surprise act, will give patrons pulsating performances.

But on Wednesday, Inna Patty, who is the CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana, organisers of the pageant announced on social media that Wendy will also be performing.

“Look who I bumped into rehearsing her moves to wow Ghana and the world this Saturday 29th September 2018 @marriottaccrahotel @wendyshayofficial #missghana2018 Do you have your tickets? If not, then hurry just a few seats left at Batsonaa Frankie’s, Buka Restaurant, Jamrock, Capito…,” she said after she shared a photo with Wendy on Instagram.

Wendy Shay who many have described as the replacement of the late Ebony is currently doing very well with her “Uber Driver” song. Her new single titled “Astalavista” is equally doing well. This will be her first time to perform on Miss Ghana platform.

This year’s Miss Ghana is under the theme; “Evolution of Beauty” and it will be parading 10 contestants who are representing each region of Ghana.

Judges during the night will be looking out for beauties with brains, character and commitment to serve the homeland Ghana.
