"Giving back to society is the one of the roads to success", believes the General Manager of Despite Media Group Kennedy Asante Osei, who has advised Ghanaians to develop a kind heart towards the needy and the less-privileged in society.

Kennedy Asante Osei, one of the youngest General Managers in the country, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 made a donation to his alma mater to mark his birthday.

Looking at the goodness of God upon his life, Mr. Osei remembered his roots where he acquired knowledge, therefore returning to his previous school, Rev. John Teye Memorial Institute.

He single-handedly refurbished the school's library turning it into an ultra-modern study facility, fully stocked with educational materials to aid the research needs of students, and further donated several boxes of Special Ice water and assorted drinks to the Institute.

In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, Kennedy Osei explained that he chose his previous school after identifying a need of the students, and also because Rev. John Teye Memorial Institute has played an integral role in the success story of his life.

To him, there couldn’t have been any other place to celebrate his birthday than his alma mater and to show how proud he is of his Junior High School roots, he believed establishing a Library for the students to help with their studies and research is worth it.

The vibrant General Manager advised the Ghanaian youth to work hard saying "there is no substitute for hard work since hard work really pays" and further averred that there is blessing in giving.

Present with him to officially outdoor the Library were the Programmes Manager of UTV, Roger Quartey; UTV Morning show host, Yaa Konama; Musician Kidi, Movie Producer and Director, Kofi Asamoah and a few of his playmates in school during his days at the Rev. John Teye Memorial Institute.
