A man believed to be in his mid 40s has allegedly butchered his wife and 2 children to death at Ntwikwaa Tweapease in the Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituency.
Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, Assemblyman for the area, Hon. Listowel Antwi Nkrumah explained that the suspect escaped after his alleged distasteful act.
"It happened late last night but we managed to convey the bodies to the mortuary. However, two (2) of the children are in a critical condition and are receiving treatment at the hospital. We have dispatched the police to the area to find out the cause of the man’s action whilst we also find out the where about of the man".
Though the cause of his action is still unknown, they are pleading to the general public to assist the police to arrest the suspect.
He is suspected to be hiding in the Central Region and its envrons.
