Chief Executive of I-ZAR Group, Rashida Saani Nasamu has been adjudged winner in the Communications category of the 40under40 awards. She also won the People’s Choice award as the most voted under 40 Female Chief Executive of the year. 

The ceremony saw the young entrepreneur crowned for her efforts in business excellence at I-ZAR, a multi specialist organization with diverse affiliates.

Receiving the awards, Rashida thanked all who supported her in making the I-ZAR Group dream a reality.

“I will like to dedicate these awards to everyone who voted for me and of course to my family for allowing me use the dining table of our home during the inception of I-ZAR. Also, to everyone who played a role in making this dream a reality”, she said.

The event honoured and celebrated young and accomplished business leaders under the age of 40 from wide range of industries from manufacturing, community development, media, insurance among others.

On his part, minister for Business development, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal announced that plans were far advanced to create a GHC 200 million fund to support entrepreneurs in the country.

He commended organizers of the event adding that his ministry will be an official partner of the awards ceremony.
