Resolve Your Issues Through Dialogue Not Conflicts - Mahama To Northern Region NDC

Former President Mahama has called on the rank and file of the NDC in the Northern Region to hold fire and make peace.

This follows recent reports of violence and infighting among party members.

Recently, the Regional Secretary of the NDC in the Northern Region got his badly damaged and himself manhandled by some alleged pro-NDC vigilante group called 'Al-Qaeda' over concerns he is leading an attack against the Regional Chairman.

However, in a press release signed by spokesperson of the Former President, James Agyenim-Boateng, John Mahama called for calm and advocated for dialogue to resolve the impasse.

The former president who is seeking re-election to lead the NDC into 2020 polls as flagbearer also announced ongoing talks with MPs within the affected areas to bring lasting solution to the issues.

MAHAMA URGES NORTHERN REGION NDC TO REMAIN CALM

Former President John Dramani Mahama is urging the rank and file of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Northern Region to remain calm and resort to dialogue to resolve any misunderstanding.

Mr Mahama is already in touch with the Minority Leader, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, and other Members of Parliament from the region who are working with the Council of Elders to resolve any impasse.
