Edmund Kyei Writes: Professor Gyampo Got It Wrong On Dissolution Of Government Comment

The 5.6 kilometers Madina Adentan road has delayed for about 10 years, as footbridges designed which will be used by pedestrians safely across the speedways we're abandoned in the course of the project's completion.

The comments by Prof. Gyampo is so unfortunate because government was willing to complete these footbridges by next year whiles during the KNUST saga Prof. Obiri Danso was not ready to resolve issues with the students so Professor Gampo's argument was a mismatch argument.

The uncompleted bridges means thousands of people especially kids risk getting knocked down by speeding cars so government is so committed in solving that dangerous situation and it's unfortunate that more than 20 lives have been lost on Madina and Adentan highway within this year. I express my deepest condolences to the families of the lost souls.

In going forward Professor Gyampo with many academic credentials should desist from comparing apples with oranges because government was on the process of solving the footbridges issue before this current accident happened. Professor Gyampo has been unfair in assessment of the situation and has made his statement flawed.
