The National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Henry Nana Boakye, popularly called Nana B, says President Nana Akufo-Addo has performed better under 1-year as compared to the eight year rule of the erstwhile Mahama administration.

Reacting to Kofi Adams' statements regarding the 2019 Budget statement delivered by Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta today at Parliament, the NPP National Youth Organizer said on Okay FM’s "Ade Akye Abia" insisted that the NPP government has, under the leadership of  "competent" President Akufo-Addo, rolled out several social interventions to mitigate the economic hardships that were visited upon Ghanaians under the Mahama regime.

"8 years of incompetent NDC was full of dumsor without any good news. The only achievement they could boast of was dumsor aside that nothing more to show. No amount of lies by them can cover up their incompetence. NDC failed Ghanaians".

He listed some interventions by the government to alleviate the plight of Ghanaians such as free SHS policy, NABCO among others, adding that as part of measures to build a better Ghana; the government  is "gradually eliminating the debt of contractors…His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is fixing the economy and still managing Ghana…Ghana is still on course…We are working".
