Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) will climax its 109th Speech and Prize-Giving Day on Saturday, 24th November, 2018, from 8:30am to 12:30pm on the Oval at GSTS, Takoradi. The Activities for this event will be held from Thursday 22nd November 2018 to Sunday 25th November 2018.

As part of the weekend of activities, the GSTS Alumni Association (GAA) will be hosting a Fundraising Dinner Dance on the evening of Saturday 24th November, 2018 at the Raybow Hotel in Takoradi from 6:30pm to 11:00pm where all Giants would reunite to spend an evening together enjoying good music, great food, and networking while raising funds to support the provision of critical infrastructure upgrades at our Alma mater, GSTS.

Situated atop the hills overlooking the Takoradi Harbour in the Western Region of Ghana, this high school is known for science and engineering prowess which is critical to the economic, scientific and technological future of Ghana. GSTS is 109 years old and is the third oldest secondary school in Ghana. Regrettably, the edifices of this educational gem have not seen any major renovation in decades. The evening of fundraising, will provide alumni and friends of GSTS an opportunity to support the efforts at improving the school’s degenerating infrastructure into better shape.

Aseidu-Addo PhD ’81 ’83, Dean, School of Sciences, University of Education, Winneba and the Guest Speaker is Giant Professor John Eminah PhD ’70 ’72, Head of Chemistry Department, University of Education, Winneba.
