The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) says they are "ready for a strategic partnership in the 2020 elections" with any political party in the country.
Delivering a solidarity message at the National Democratic Congress National Delegates’ Congress Saturday at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra, National Secretary of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Murtala Mohammed Ahmed said:
“The PPP is ready for a strategic partnership in the 2020 elections; a strategic partnership in policy, in policy direction and parliamentary collaborations. This general appeal is to all political parties that can reach an amicable understanding with us before 2020 elections.
I think Ghanaians are tired of internal bickering and wrangling. I’m not against dissent that is very necessary especially as social democratic party like yours. However, your unity is paramount; it is very important that you come out of this congress united.
The outcome of this election and that of the presidential one in December will determine largely the out of the 2020 elections".
