We Don’t Beg Bloggers To Hype Our Songs ─ Says R2bees

The Ghanaian music group, R2bees have explained why they don’t pay any blogger for hype before their songs are released.

The duo aired this during an interview on Joy FM’s Cosmopolitan Mix with the host, Doreen Andoh.

According to them, every good song can promote itself and it’s not a matter of paying bloggers and other media operators to get your songs promoted.

“I would never send you a song to post for me. The reason is I trust the music so much and I believe it will do just right.

I don’t think we went through hardships because we started our record label. We don’t know people. We don’t get a lot of good press. We don’t care about all these things. We believe in our music. It’s all about the fans. It’s always been all hands-on board if we are to give gratitude to anyone,” R2Bees said.

They further explained why their upcoming album launch had to be pushed ahead.

“We’ve pushed our new album to next year because we just dropped the single, “Beautiful”. We worked on it for three years,” Omar said.
