Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo Writes: HELP! Catherine Afeku Is Confusing & Conning Us

Arguably for the first time in the history of 'Prez. Meet The Press', a direct question on creative arts was posed to the President yesterday, thanks to Kwame Adinkra (God will bless him).

In his attempt to answer the question on the establishment of a theatre in Kumasi, the President twirled and swirled, looking for somebody to help him answer such a relevant question.

"Unfortunately, Afeku is not here to answer, but you will get an answer," he retorted unconvincingly.

My people, the Afeku the Prez. was referring to was partying at that time; drinking, eating and dancing at the same time when Ghanaians were tuned in, hoping for sane answers on how the Country is being managed.

The first confusion is this; how did Madam find it convenient, expedient and germane to organize a party for Creative Arts folks when there was a crucial gathering that was of some utmost importance?

The other confusion is; these same folks within the Creative Arts have been disturbing Ghanaians over the lack of a large seating theatre in the regions, especially Kumasi, yet, they were partying with the Minister when an answer to that question was needed. How? What were they celebrating? Which one?

But wait, there's more confusion brethren.

Now, some Entertainment Show hosts and their producers plus pundits, who could have been in a better position to query the Minister on why she has missed 2 crucial 'Prez. Meet the Press' gatherings in the year - were also partying; eating, drinking and dancing.

In summary, we are just a f**ked up bunch and Afeku is in the driving seat.
