'I Am A Woman Of Virtue' - Kumawood Actress

Ghanaian actress, Gladys Mensah Boaku popularly known as 'Nayas', has refuted claims by some members of the public that she is a quick-tempered and extremely unforgiving person.

This rumored but growing perception among some people began last year when the 'Kumawood' actress stormed the premises of Adom FM and confronted gospel singer Ernest Opoku over a personal issue.

Nayas has vowed not to allow such a false image of her to follow her into 2019.

The 33 year old actress and movie producer, prior to the incident that was on many lips in Ghana as at May 2018, has been quite silent with regards to controversies.

The actress and Chief Executive Officer of her own film company, 'Nayas' 1 Movie Productions', have been working very hard on her projects.

As a matter of fact, she accords little time to social media gimmicks and gossip, and is very focused on her business.

However, she believes that a loud lie can sometimes overshadow the real truth - hence, the reason for her coming out to address this issue.

"I am not a wicked person as some people may think, in every situation I find myself I try to understand what is going on and adapt. But, I am also human and so when my buttons are pushed too hard, just like every human, I will react. But, I love having people around me and I think the greatest asset a person can have on this planet is good people", she explained.

She also responded to a recent online publication which described the actress as only interested in dating rich men who could buy her a Range Rover - "I think any woman who sells herself because of material gains is an insult to womanhood. I am a woman of virtue,"

Nayas is currently working on a new project to be released later this year. This will be her first movie project this year.
