At the close of last year, we read about his new project called the �Emklan Gold� which was compiling artistes of different genres on one album. When the reports came out, close sources of Emklan Records told us there were more people than he could imagine. The project as we are gathering, is near completion to be outdoored soon according to some of the artistes we interviewed. This time from Emklan Events, the latest project to hit you is christened �SHOWBIZ PERSONALITIES NIGHT� with the theme �CELEBRATING OUR STARS�. This event is one among the myriad of events that Emklan will be churning out to its fans and large followers. The date at the moment is not yet out but the showbiz personality to be celebrated in the second edition is Nadia Buari, one of Ghallygold`s stalwarts. Nadia since her entry into the movie industry has risen beyond heights to the international level where she is still gracing the posters and covers of video CD`s. Nadia, a single lady who commands a whole lot of respect in the industry deserves this celebration by all standards. In a telephone interview with Stacey last Monday, she said plans are far advanced for this event which was launched in 2007 at the Royal Fiesta Hotel. �So who qualifies to be celebrated�we asked her. �Any personality in every field of endeavour who is in higher demand by the people can be celebrated. The person can be a footballer, musician or whatever. As much as he has distinguished him or herself in his chosen career, we will honour him. We are even likely to honour more than one person next year if all go well. The date will be published later so people should expect something better than before� Stacey told us via the phone.
