IGP David Asante Appeatu To Be Honoured By Faithful Servants Awards

Faithful Servants Awards, a project initiated in the United States of America to honour great police officers for their sacrifice in saving lives and ensuring peace in communities, is set to honour the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr David Asante-Apeatu.

The award ceremony, initiated by Bishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng, Founder of Divine Word International Ministry (DWIM) in the United States of America, will be in recognition of his efforts to foster and create an environment of honesty and integrity in the Ghana Police Service.

The overall objective of the project is to recognize the great work of the Police Service.

The event to be held in Ghana, is slated for the 16th and 17th of January 2019.

As part of the ceremony, a police officer who works with the Tesano Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD), captured on video refusing a bribe from a driver while on duty, as well a journalist with the United Television (UTV) who made reports on the story, would also be honoured.
