C.I.D. Boss visits families of kidnapped victims in Takoradi

The Director General of the Criminal Investigations Department, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Mrs. Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo- Danquah at the weekend engaged the families of the three young ladies kidnapped in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis.

The visit is to empathize with them and promise them of the command unreserved action to bring the perpetrators to book.

The Command upon the instruction of the President of the Republic of Ghana was soliciting foreign intelligence and investigative aid to unravel the nefarious games of the kidnappers and their associates.

The three Kidnapped victims, Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, Priscilla Blessing Bentum and Ruth Love Quayson never returned home between August and December after their now identified kidnapper, Samuel Wills promised them jobs and a mobile phone.

DSP Olivia Adiku, the Regional PRO said among her entourage were; the Regional Police Commander, DCOP Vincent Redeemer Dedjoe and Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr. Edmund Ohene Bosompem, the Regional Crime Officer, ACP Mr. James Amoako Acheamfour and Superintendent Alhaji Hussein Musah Awinaba the Staff Officer, DSP Mr. Kweku Ayepah, the Takoradi District Police Commander, C/Supt. Mr. Peter Ofori Donkor.

The Director General C.I.D whilst addressing the families separately in their homes expressed sympathy and concern from the I.G.P and Police Administration to them.

She said the Police Administration was doing everything possible to rescue the victims.

She further stated that, the President had instructed the I.G.P to prioritize te Kidnapping investigation and had also solicited for British and American assistance in the investigations.

The parents of the Kidnapped victims were grateful to the Police for the work done so far and urged them to do more to bring back their children.

They also appealed to the Police Administration to bring a clinical psychologist to assist them overcome the trauma they were going through.
