NUGS To Partner Ghana Aids Commission To Educate Youth And Students On HIV Prevention

The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) say they will partner with the Ghana Aids Commission to educate the youth on HIV prevention.

President of NUGS, Mr. Tinkaro Asare Osei disclosed this when he participated in the 1st Meeting of the National HIV Prevention Coalition Campaign at the Ghana AIDS Commission.

The meeting centered on the progress of redeveloping the Prevention Roadmap and Action Plan towards HIV Prevention and how the Coalition can replicate the Global Prevention Coalition in Ghana. 

Mr. Tinkaro Asare Osei at the meeting reiterated the commitment on the part of NUGS to be involved in the campaign towards HIV Prevention in Ghana.
 
Hestated that his outfit will help embark on a nationwide campaign together with the Ghana AIDS Commission to help propagate the necessary information and details aimed at reducing HIV infections across the Tertiary and Secondary Cycle Institutions.
 
NUGS showed its commitment towards the 10 point action plan that aimed at elaborating immediate concrete steps needed to accelerate progress in respect of HIV Prevention. 

The Union uses this opportunity to thank Student Leaders across the country who sent their views and suggestions on how HIV can be prevented.
